London based Synth-Pop artist and songwriter, Jessica Towers, follows in the footsteps of her family, starting with her Grandfather who played trombone in the big bands of the 40’s and 50’s, followed then by her Nana and Mother who were enthralled with the art of dancing. With this musical background Jessica became a dancer herself at a young age which naturally progressed into the art of music creation, a calling that she just couldn’t ignore.

 

With the musical influences of Pop greats like Michael Jackson, Madonna and Prince she was often transfixed with their electric and all-encompassing performances. So much so, that she sought to take her wide eclectic taste in music and coupled that with indexing authenticity in order to create music that her audience connects to, just as she, herself connected to these pop greats. 

 

With this backdrop, Jessica aims to take the listener into her world through the avenue of her artistry, providing an escape from the distractions of the ‘real world’ into a sensual dreamscape enveloped by the layers of ethereal synths, creamy vocals and throbbing beats.

Jessica Towers' debut single Nothing Doing is a dreamy love song filled with layers of ethereal synths and vocals flowing over rhythmic Reggaeton beats. Nothing Doing reached the semi-finals of the UK Songwriting Contest 2021.
